Turn the page
Whether the story is a tragedy or a victory depends on where you stop turning the pages. Think of your favorite movies: right before the end, it looks like the hero has lost. The relationship is over. The bad guy has pulled off their scheme. We are stuck in a hole and it looks like we will never get out.
But then we turn the page. We get back up, and the next chapter is the hero finding something in them they didn't realize was there. The reason we love these stories is because they speak to something deep and true inside of us.
I'm not saying you didn't have a big loss. But you don't have to quit, and therefore you don't have to lose.
Also, did you ever notice in our stories that the hero doesn't just keep doing the same thing over and over again? They change who they are. They get a team. They discover a new tool. And with their new approach, they try again and win.
It's not over. You just need to try something different this time.
